make your very own Google Airplane in Google Docs for free!!
every year Google does their April fools pranks. My favorite up to this point had been the
Google Tisp. This year though they may've outdone themselves with rickrolling
YouTube UK users. Go check it out by clicking any of the featured videos. That's some funny shit! Haha.
Google Docs has also given us something pretty cool. Our very own Google Airplane. Is it said that people need Google to do something like this to add some humor and life into their offices?

It even flies well too!
What are you favorite internet April Fools Pranks?
pretty. odd. the new album by Panic at the Disco
I must admit, the single Nine in the Afternoon got me. Its simpler then most of the songs off A Fever You Can\'t Sweat Out but it is still quite engaging. At the least, I was excited for this album. The album itself, I feel falls flat. I listened to it from front to back and fealt myself losing interest time and time again. Every song seems to flow into the next without much change. In a word, boring. Now I don\'t want to leave it at that as I feel that after a few listens this album while come alive. So for now, I leave you with the above. Take while probably occur in a few weeks.
You can listen to the album at
mtv.com. Just don't forget to come back and comment.
making my way into the future.

lindsay as marilyn
ok, this is kind of interesting. we all know lindsay lohan is no marilyn monroe in terms of beauty, charisma, talent, paradigm changing impact on pop-culture and really american lives in general but there are parallels. both have struggled with addictions and are considered bad girls of their time. constroversey has surrounded them both, but again, Marilyn was much more akin to it and handled it much better. almost as if her life was carefully planned and intentional or maybe that is how the picture is painted almost half a century later. in any case. take a look

new phone! ha.
so I got a new phone. well a new old phone. i\'d had the Sprint PPC 6700 since July-ish of 2006. a year and a half isn\'t bad for me to keep a phone. but this one ended bad. about 3 months ago the navigation button stopped working. and this morn i woke up to the touch screen and mini USB connector broken. only a few hours later the phone intermittently received calls. so now i have a new one. the same. unfortunately i have no numbers. so send em over.
man that is a boring post.
It's always the most amazing feeling to experience something you've only ever seen in images.
For studio today we went to the TWA terminal by Eero Saarinen. All I can really say is wow. The clear lines and geometry is just... complete. The way surfaces interact to create wall, floor, divider. The relationship of solid and void. The interaction of opaque and clear. The use of material for continuity, it all just enforces the mastery of Saarinen. The building is just such a work of art. Practically it is really nothing, not even in use and was severely outdated the day it was finished, but in all honesty, none of that matters. Why? How many airport terminals are perfect for practicality and usability? Hundreds, thousands, but all of them will last probably 20, 30 years and then be torn down, or added on to or something. This building has stood for almost 43 years and will most likely stand forever because of its cultural contributions. Who cares about practicality when you can create something like this. Anyway, enough of my ramplings.
Check out the pictures here.
Besides that my life has been quite inconsequential lately. Well accept for one thing which has really kept me smiling. Well it's one HUGE thing. But I could sit here and write forever about that because it makes me the most happy person in the world. :)
Twice in one weekend...
So yea, as many know I live in Hoboken. The best part of this is that I live right across the river from NYC, that bad part is I don't make it there much anymore. You see, I love NYC. I don't know why, just always have. I can't wait to live there. I used to want to raise a family there, but not anymore. I wanna raise my kids in the suburbs but I still wanna live in NYC before my wife and I settle down to really start a family. Anyway, this post is about how I was there twice this weekend! That has happened since like November! So yea, it was exciting. On Friday, Diego, Alex, JP and I went with intentions of going to the MoMA(it's free on friday afternoon) and our site for studio. Well the MoMA was packed so we passed that by(no big deal as I've been there before) and continued on to get some dinner and then to the site. Then, today Diego and I went to the city to see
"The Gates". Man it is cool. They're only up till the 28th of February so get there and see them. Its amazing to see art on such a scale.
Anyway, In addition to fully quitting smoking, eating healthier, and cutting out some other habits, I've decided to make sure I get into the city more. Specifically three to four times a month, if not more. Don't think I can do it? I've been keeping up with the other things so why couldn't I do this?
Finally, the super bowl.
So I've been an Eagles fan since '96. Why do I remember that? Because after the cowboys fell apart I realized it was time to really choose a team(in all sports, not just football) that I would continually root for year after year. At that point, they were OK. Barely got to the playoffs under Ray Rhodes tutelage. For the next couple years they were horrible. But since 2000 they've been good. The past 3 years making the conference championships and losing. But they finally did it! Anyway, I am happy about that.
In other news, my feet are cold, hair is still black, and I dug out my car today. The snow is pretty deep and it was good exercise digging it out. Took about 45 minutes. Besides that, I cleaned and organized my stuff in the apartment some more. Basically continued on my path towards complete organization, I am not there yet but am much more organized then I have ever been in my life. So its a bit gratifying. My dad will be proud. Haha.
And so it begins.
So this new blog is finally at a point where it can go live. It's a part of something much bigger, which is most definatly on its way but right now the blog is a good start.
Anyway, its 1:30 AM on the day that it snowed over a foot here in the tri state area. I had work this afternoon(10:30-4:30). Hence the snow strarted when i was at work and had already accumulated like 4 inches when I got out. At around 7:30 i decided to take a walk to right aid to get a shovel. I get there, notice 2 shovels left, take a quick trip to the back of the store to get some bottled water, come back, both shovels were being paid for. So i decided to take another lap through the store and see if I need anything else. Well, something catches my eye, so I buy it.
You can see the results
